The ReadEn application allows a universal reading of any meters used during distribution of energy and services. It supports measuring of all types of registers (values) that are used, from numerical values, to time values, character values, up to state values and information values.
Easy Implementation and Operation

The ReadEn application is distributed according to the scale of the customer's needs, with a possibility of a prompt extension as per current situation.
Authentication - All applications (programmes) of the ReadEn system allow access to the system and taking any actions only under a user account, with an assigned user name and password.
Authorization - A role system is set at the system level and the roles are assigned rights to entities and actions. This rights matrix can be set in any way when implementing the system. The matrix can be changed even during live operation (to make the roles more or less strict).
Encryption - The ReadEn system fully supports and respects the requirements for encryption at the AMR network level and all required encryption technologies, such as HTTP(s), or SSL.
Strictly registry based, including external registry
Apart from register readouts and recorded incidents, the ReadEn system only has a limited set of its own data. The fundamental part (ca 90 %) of the database size therefore comprises registers and incidents that have been read. Its other data are used mainly for automation of data collection and identification of registers and higher elements.
Central Administration and Maintenance
From the user's and administrator's point of view, the entire system is accessible from a single client, including all services used. The ReadEn client software is completely isolated from a direct access to the database and it communicates only with the server service.
24 x 7 Operation
ReadEn is a 24x7 system which performs a wide spectrum of programmable tasks, it is reliable and easy to monitor.
Support of parallel communication which allows reading of hundreds of meters per minute while using relatively slow communication paths (10 - 300 Bd).
Dimensina Units - Full Customization
The ReadEn application allows all users to use their own size units for displaying the readouts. The chosen size units are used for displaying the register values in the entire programme, i.e. also for export and print. User settings have no impact on the way of storing data in the database or transferring data to SAP.
